Smet Theatrics presents: KING LEAR
In KING LEAR, the aging King of England demands his three daughters endorse him at court. Only his youngest and favorite daughter, Cordelia, is brave enough to refuse, citing his fading mental and physical health. Lear is set on a rampage against family and friend as his mind continues to deteriorate. Only a few brave souls – including Cordelia, Edgar (the prophesied king), and a mysterious Fool (who may or may not be able to see the future) – can save Lear and the Kingdom.
